I have been sucked in by Facebook games from time to time. The better ones have even earned a little bit of my money.

I am currently playing The Agency: Covert Ops (SOE) and FrontierVille (Zynga).

TA:CO brings in interesting story/questlines and some great mini-games (although I truly suck at the running and jumping across rooftops game, and tend to blame the game when I plummet), as well as very low-key crafting and group-based missions. What it lacks is a sense of humor.

I get my funnies in Frontierville, which offers very cute dialog and messaging, as well as collections and quests. Well, not quests really, but more like to-do lists, which at the least offer some direction and reason to talk with and exchange materials with neighbors. Plus you get a cute little spouse and wee baby (whom we'll call "farm labor") to keep you company on the homestead.
