Filament Strangler, The
It Can't ALL Be Interesting Work
Zo'dok tells you about a plant that eats monitors, and how he'd like you to bring him "some samples of the monitors once they've been encapsulated in the filament."
1) I need some (3) filament encapsulated monitors for Bio-Parser Zo'dok. Your job will be to lure the Skittering Monitors close enough to the Filament Strangler plants so the plants start to eat the lizards (-36, 256). Do this with a ranged attack, or begin combat with a lizard and run toward a plant. You will see this message:
"A Filament Strangler moves slightly as filaments emerge from the ground, gripping its target."
Then you'll see a "filament encapsulated monitor" on the ground, which you'll double-click to pick up.
2) I need to bring these monitors to Bio-Parser Zo'dok.
3) After you speak with them to complete your quest, you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, It Can't ALL Be Interesting Work.
