Exploragist Zokil (-693, -203, -1332) resides in the Drogan Exile Encamplent in Fens of Nathsar.
Zokil needs special crystal shards to experiment with. He seeks to unlock their special properties, but he cannot brave the creatures guarding the area where they are found: The "Cliffs of Dispair" is what he calls it. Never mind that the one crystal that he managed to obtain exploded when he was working with it.
The area he sends you to is on the ridge to the east of Kurn's Tower, in the Field of Bone, along the base of a mountain. You may want to complete the Drogan quests "Scor-peons" and "Scaley Wolfies" at the same time, as those mobs are just below the crystal area, in the Field of Bone proper.
1. Despair crystals collected (8)
These crystals are found on the ridge above the Field of Bone, well east of Kurn's Tower, and just northeast ofthe Bellywhumper Burynai encampment.
If you have the Bellywhumper Sokokar Post tagged, I suggest you fly there (and back) to save time.
The crystals highlight when you hover over them, but do not display a name. Each crystal you come across can be harvested by all members of your party – no waiting for respawn. If you start running into a few cacti mobs (A Parched Succulent Level 74), you are in the right area.
Heading northeast along the ridge from the Bellywhumper camp, we found the crystals from -2,119, -316, -1,548 onwards.
2. Return to Exploragist Zokil.
The Goblin is happy with your work, presents you with a reward and then has nothing further to do with you. Off you go now! Dismissed!
