Broken Barrier: The Bite of the Wolf

Having spoken to Tilzax in the previous very short quest, you know that he is about to set forth a series of tasks for you.

Very well. To reforge the Bite of the Wolf we need a few things: the elemental bindings which you’ve already provided, woven natural sinew, a mechanically precise balancing core, and a scroll detailing the ritual to create the blade.
Where can I find these objects?
The natural sinew I am told is a specialty of the Synod Reet in the Kunzar Jungle. The scroll detailing the ritual was carried by a druid of our order. He was last heading into Jarsath Wastes to study the Yha-lei. As for the mechanically precise balancing core…I am not sure where you might find one. It’s mechanical in nature…so keeping your eyes peeled for some sort of mechanical construct would be the best advice I can give.

Quest Text:
In order to properly rebuild the Bite of the Wolf, Tilzax V’Reryn needs me to collect a number of components. I need woven natural sinew, a mechanically precise balancing core, and a copy of the scroll detailing the ritual. The woven natural sinew is a specialty of the Synod Reet in the Kunzar Jungle. The scroll was kept by a druid who was last seen heading into the Jarsath Wastes to study the Yha-lei. The balancing core Tilzax is not sure where to get, but believes it will be found on a mechanical construct of some sort.

* Collect woven natural sinew.
This can be purchased from the Synod Reet faction merchant in exchange for 10c and 20 sinews. The sinews drop from almost any mob in the Kunzar Jungle. You will need at least 40,000 Synod Reet faction to buy from the merchant.

The quest "Swords to be Swiped" gives +5000 faction each time and is probably the quickest way to build up your faction via repeatable quest.



* Collect a mechanically precise balancing core.
You will find the mechanically precise balancing core on the Gear of the Ancients in Charasis: Maiden's Chamber. The Gear of the Ancients is a level 82^^^ Heroic construct, considered to be the easiest of the named mobs in Maidens. It can be found at The Great Gear, at loc -88, -18, 183.



* Collect a scroll detailing the ritual.
The ritual scroll drops from Leviathor’Consuma in Chelsith. To spawn him, clear the Yha-lei surrounding the pool in the Feeding Chamber. You’ll notice a non-aggro Yha-lei feeder that keeps running between the pool and the water nearby. If you follow him, you’ll see a school of bluefins. Fish one out to lure Leviathor’Consuma out. Kill Leviathor’Consuma (engaging him in his pool to avoid knockback)and loot the ritual scroll.



* Return to Tilzax V’Reryn with the components for the Bite of the Wolf.
