I’ve discovered what happened to the Wounded of the Earth.
What was it?
Pride.
Pride?
Pride. He threw his blade away of his own volition, fearful that it defined him. He wanted to prove that it did not. Instead, he proved that it did. Without the blade his confidence wavered, and the constant pressure to merge with the pure elemental powers was too much.
A shame.
