The Broken Hand: Bones of the Elder

Note: This is a SUBQUEST involved in The Broken Hand.

Go to Sebilis, in the sourtheast corner of Kunzar Jungle. Head south to the Mezzanine, and then jump off the east side into the water far below (aim carefully!). Swim to the underwater tunnel to the southeast, and straight down the waterflow until you can exit in the jail area. If is not a long swim, so you should not need water breathing. Do use a combination of Jaguar Totems and Feign Death to get to your destination if travelling alone.

You'll need to open a jail cell in the western jail cell area. Once inside, Elder Jaago (72, -132, 102) will spawn and offer you a sub-quest, "The Broken Hand: Bones of the Elder".



A grave mistake... to try and bring Tranquility to the iksar... They would not hear my message... They tortured me and killed me... Not one would listen.
It is not a mistake to bring peace to a people, even ones such as the iksar. Your death is on their heads, not yours.
Your words are wise... but I cannot rest...
Do you know what happened to the blade you carried?
I hid it... before my demise... I would not let their unworthy claws possess it... Give me rest and I will reveal its resting place to you...
What must I do?
They broke my fingers and toes one by one... but I would not cry out... Of the bones they made mock trinkets... Gifted them to their nobles... Reclaim my bones and lay them to rest...
Where shall they be buried?
A shady spot... of quiet peace and meditation... a place where earth has become art...
I will see if I can find a place like that.


· I need to recover the Elder Jaggo's bones (20) that were made into trinkets and given to nobles in Sebilis.

These drop from the Iksar mobs that are deeper in Sebilis. The laboratory and nearby area, as well as the basement with the Legionnaries, works well. They don't drop off every kill. After you get the last one, the quest updates.

· Elder Jaago wants his bones buried in "a shady spot...of quiet peace and meditation...a place where earth has become art..."

Take your bone trinkets to Elddar Grove, and find a mound in front of a tree to click on (727, -20, -405). Elder Jaago will then spawn, or at least his ghost will. Talk to him to update your quest.



"Ah, this spot is nice... a place among my brethren... and now I must uphold my end of the bargain."
I would appreciate it.
"Return to my cell. Behind a loosed brick near my shackles is where the blade rests. My soul is tranquil knowing that one so worthy will now take up the Blade of Tranquility. I will rest now, thank you for all you have done, and all you will soon do. Farewell."
Goodbye, Elder Jaago.

· I should return to Elder Jaago's cell in Sebilis and recover the Blade of Tranquility from behind the loose brick.

Go back to the jail cell in lower Sebilis, and look for a clickable brick on the back wall (75, -131, 99). Here you will find the Blade of Tranquility, and your subquest will finish.



You will now return to the main quest line of the Broken Hand.
