Mother Lode, The
Ilmtar now wants you to hunt snakes so he can use their scales to improve gowns or shoes for his customers.
1) I need the scales from eight snakes for Ilmtar D'Viervs. Ilmtar says to you:
"If you travel farther west you'll find the Searing Tendril River. Along its banks you'll find serpents."
The river is west of the Post, and is the shores along it are home to both aggro and non-aggro snakes. The local (non-aggro) Docile Slither snakes are level 9-10 down arrow, and are plentiful along the riverbank (-133, 59), as are the same level, yet aggro Agitated Slithers.
2) I need to bring these scales to Ilmtar D'Viervs.
3) After you speak with them to complete your quest, you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, More Luxuries.
