Mother Lode, The
Ilmtar tells you that he made a mistake, and sent you to collect the wrong types of scales. Now you get to go get the right ones!
1) I need to collect the scales from eight scar wurms for Ilmtar D'Viervs. I need to collect 4 pheromone sacs from the scar wurms. Ilmtar says to you:
"They glide about in Innoruuk's Scar just east of here. Theirs are the scales that I speak of, though they can be tricky to capture. You'll have to hit them with something to catch their attention. Once that happens, though, they're quite aggressive...it's mating season."
Ilmtar hopes to use the pheromone sacs of the males to lure out the wurm mother and skin her. Head to the east and you will soon come upon a large pit where these level 8-9 down arrow Scar Wurms are flying around. You will not get an update for every kill on the sacs you need, but by the time you kill eight of them for the first part of the quest, you should have them all.
2) I need to bring these scales and pheromone sacs back to Ilmtar.
3) After you speak with them to complete your quest, you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, The Mother Lode.
