Tykor is also paranoid, and feels that the poachers are surely up to something "nefarious" with their ore mining.
NOTE: The reward item(s) for this quest will not be shown in detail, since you will likely grow out of using them quite quickly.
1) I need some (3) samples of the ore the Haoaerans are mining to the west. Cross the water to the northwest, and then climb up the hill to find the level 2 down-arrow Haoaeran Diggers (-72, 133). Once they are dead, you'll be able to mine the curious ore they were working on.
2) I need to bring these ore samples back to Tykor Gi'lok.
3) After you speak with them to complete your quest, you get your coin reward, XP, Reinforced Miners Sack, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Report to the Primary.
