NOTE: This quest is triggered collecting an item dropped after killing Assault Captain Phezzryn.
"I should rescue the griffin held captive by Assault Captain Phezzryn."
NOTE: The reward item(s) for this quest will not be shown in detail, since you will likely grow out of using them quite quickly.
1) You should use the reins found off of Assault Captain Phezzryn to ride the captive griffon back to Thulwun Station East. First, free the captive griffon. You'll find it southwest of the Captain, flanked by two non-linked level 9 down-arrow Haoaeran Trappers (474, -119). After you kill the surrounding mobs, talk to the Griffon. Select "You're safe now [free the griffon]." After you select this, you will get a free ride to a griffon station.
2) I should speak with the griffon handler at the Thulwun Station East (783, 155). Choose the option: "The spirocs had a captive griffon in the cave north of Thulwun Station East."
3) After you speak with them to complete your quest, you get your coin reward, XP, Griffon Feed Bag, and Winged Horn.
