I found the Daedalus Project very interesting, and participated for several years, but I would like to know: WHY IS THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT FUNDING A STUDY OF WOW? (That little tidbit is on the sign up page for the new study).  *sigh* We're bringing our own office supplies into work due to lack of funds (yes, I'm a petty bureaucrat), and the government is spending money on grants for studies of WoW....

.... then why don't they do studies on a large enough sample size to be scientifically valid and, for goodness sake, differentiate between cause and effect and "pre-existing conditions".  This "study" is a load of manure.

Please note the noted medical authority who says that video games are "imitation play-like activities".....  I don't disagree that I, and most of us, gamers are not, need more physical activity, but does he consider board games, cards, jacks, toys "imitation play-like activities"?

Don't forget that you can be knocked out multiple times before losing and once you pop back up you are at full health, while your opponent is not. In the instances I have done, I have seen no regeneration in the mobs while I am knocked out -- there may be some in harder instances.

Anyone else having trouble loading the collectible card game in Free Realms.  Every time I try to load it, it freezes the game. I finally got the card game window to come up one time, but then it froze and I could not do anything except shut it down.

Esri Dreamkeeper - Human

Servers were up this morning and I managed to make a character -- I got a notice that the name "Esri Dreamkeeper" has been approved awhile ago.  Now I have to wait until I get home to actually play.

On my blog, I don't approve any comments that are obvious link spam. If this was my forum, I'd delete it, but it isn't (my forum). Just make sure that if you delete it, you delete them consistently -- fair is fair, after all.
