While fun, Cata has just not activated my "Inner WoW Player" the way the other expansions did.  It is new but right now the time is ripe for a new game to capture my attention.

I am happy to "run" the InnMates chapter presence in RIFT.  Assuming that it comes with the fairly lazy upkeep that it does in our WOW chapter.

I will play either side, though I admittedly prefer the Steampunky feel of the Defiant to the religious zealotry of the Guardians.  Sounds like more folks are preferring Guardian, so that is where we will make the guild, although I assume we can make a Defiant guild as well.

I am excited we will all be in a game together again, assuming of course that we stay beyond the free month

We bought it yesterday as well.  I did not play until 5 am, but it was fun.  I haven't played an RTS in a long time, so it is refreshing.

I will look forward to losing to all of you in a multi-player match someday

Anyone attending DragonCon 2009 this weekend in Atlanta?

Quin and I will be there ... I am excited.  I am going as a pirate on Saturday and he is going as a ninja.  And I am making my first costume (fairy) for Friday.

Yeah, I have not played with any add-ons.  I second the desire for an explanation of what they do

We didn't wind up having a big game last Friday, only 3 of us.  This weekend is a holiday weekend, but maybe we can do one in the coming weeks if enough are interested.

I think a group of us might play this Friday evening (guesing around 7:30ish EST?), not sure if that is too late for you. 

Unfortunately i think we are doing some RL stuff this weekend - lake time on Friday during the day, friends over Saturday, boating with friends on Sunday.  Perhaps next Sat or Sun if you can't make it this Fri?

I will let you know the next time we play an online game.  Should be 4 or 5 of us that play.  If any others are interested can do a big game with teams and stuff.  Perhaps next weekend or something.  We also have moved to a Vent server so can give you that info when we play.

Ah yes.  The patch that made my brain hurt while we tried to figure out why it wouldn't allow us to play multiplayer online.  It actually wouldn't even install after the long painful download.  Jesse figured it out (since we never uninstalled our old Civ 4 before installing the uber version that came with expansions, we had two copies of the program on our hard drive and had to delete the old one).

I love me some Civ.  And since I am currently more in the burned out boat on WoW, I have been playing a lot of it lately.
