In the happy event that there are others of you taking down notes and such on the quests for the purposes of entering them into our database, I thought it best to keep you updated on what has already been done, and what I/we are currently in the midst of.

Please post the area and/or quest line you are working on, if any. I want to keep this thread clean, so only one post per person, please, and keep it updated. I may move your info into the MAIN info, which is my post, below.

thank you!

Here is what has been done, thanks to all that have helped! The first section shows what regions or quest types we think we have completed, save for what is noted as being outstanding, or what is listed in the next section. The second section shows what quests we have started but have yet to complete and/or enter into the database.

COMPLETED AREAS/QUESTS (LIVE):

NOTE: I have some fellowship quests open from some areas, so they may not be 100% complete. If you think we are missing some quests (that I do not know about), please PM me.

INTRO and EPIC-PROLOGUE: DONE
SHIRE: DONE
ERUD LUIN: DONE
BREE-LAND DONE
NORTH DOWNS, TRESTLEBRIDGE,: DONE
LONE-LANDS: DONE, save for the Agamaur area
CRAFTING: JEWELLER: Parts I-IV DONE. WOODWORKER: Parts I-II DONE

IN PROGRESS AREAS/QUESTS:

(quests that have been taken, and are either completed or at some stage of completion, but have not yet been entered and made live.)

NORTH DOWNS: I have all of the Esteldin  and Lin Giliath quests in progress. (WREN)

GEAR QUESTS: Thorin's Hall Gear Quests I-IV (Brasse, in progress)

EVENDIM:
I have some of these in progress. (WREN)

Running through the North Downs now - I'll be sure to submit any quests that I don't find on The Brasse.

Keep in mind that we often have quest data COLLECTED but not entered yet. If in doubt about whether or not a quest is in progress, send a PM to Wren!

I have a few crafting quests completed and I would be happy to do writeups for them-- the only problem is that I didn't write down what experience a quest gave me as I did it.... I was just wondering if you would still want information on these quests (if you don't have them already), or if you'd prefer to get them from someone who can write down the info as they do the steps to the task?

I have a 'Taste of Skill III' done and 'The Will of the Iron III' done; I'm just about to do IV so I'll write down the info needed for that at least, if it's needed. I'll take a look at the quests I've done not on the list, too, just let me know.  Cheesy

{Brasse'edit: Experience per quest is an interesting thing in LOTRO, and governed by the level of the quest combined with your level (and a level 18.2 will get different xp than a level 18.Cool.

As far as I can recall, there is no actual xp rewards associated with crafting quests.

What we do want is DETAIL. ;loc information on mobs, LOTS of info on exactly what to do every step of the way and how to get there.  Check out some of the existing quests written by Wren, Alluvian or myself. There are so many "generic" quest write-ups already on the web, hehe.  Try your best in terms of spelling and grammar; while Wren will edit quests (and does so very well), it makes her grind her teeth less if there are not too many speed bumps!

We can also add in some screenshots if you have some that may be useful or illustrative of the quest - just mail them to myself and note where they should go.

Wren is on holiday off and on most of this month, or she'd be able to respond herself. =)

Hi,

I'm going to try my luck at some of the flying the coop extension quests that start in the shire.

http://www.thebrasse.com/lotro/quest/667

  >>>6) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, and XP. You will also be able to take *SIX* new quests from George the rooster: Flying the Coop: Bree-land, Ered Luin, Evendim, Lone-Lands, North Downs and Trollshaws. I have to say…I am a completeist, and really would prefer to have every quest in the game eventually listed in our database…but I tried one of these, and it was such a painful experience that I will not be returning to it any time soon. Good luck! <<<

Awesome, I hated those other flying quests, hehe!

Be sure to give very good directions as to how to get from the chicken coop to the destination in the time limit. and good luck!

happy day,

How does one submit a correction to a quest that's been changed? It threw me for a loop until I found a post on the main forum about it.  Should I just send someone a PM?
