Good heavens!  Do NOT tell my hubby!!  I don't have room to stockpile any right now, lol.

Thank goodness I prefer wine!

I can recall terrible news regarding coffee crop disasters dating back to the 70's, and each event was an excuse to increase prices. Notably, the prices never went back down after said harvest crisis passed. Ever.

Watch to see the same happen to beer. I am good with wine too, and they seem to grow that EVERYWHERE these days!

I'm wondering who wrote that article.  To state that it will effect, and I quote "an ingredient crucial to the tasty beers we all know and love" and to have a picture of Pabst Blue Ribbon next to the article seems a bit counter intuitive.  If this were only going to affect PBR then I say good riddance Cheesy!  I fondly remember the good old days of the late 80's when generics were all the rage.  We could head on over to the distributor and get a case of 'Beer" that's what it was called...just a can with a white label and the word BEER on it in bold black letters.  It was all of $2.11 for the whole case...and even THAT was better than Pabst!!

I can see that we're on the same wavelength, Reginald.  After some bad experiences, my college roommates and I decided to never spend less than 69 cents for a six-pack.  It's a good rule of thumb, even today.
