Good I am glad that everything is cool and froody on Zug, I was worried about it when I was reading the Forums days after the Announcement with all the anger and slurs that folks were posting.

Now, one would think that a (transplanted) Canadian Dwarf would be right at home with discussions of Hockey. Smiley

Seriously.... why do you think I LEFT Canada???

Yeah, the forums always make things look worse than they are. Doesn't matter if it's drama, nerfs, whatever.
Forums are da debbil.

In SWG, our guild played on Gorath, which was then named the official spanish-speaking server. It wasn't a big deal either.

Now, I am just waiting for the official KLINGON-speaking server to be announced, yah.

My reaction to this bears little sympathy for the Francophobes (though I enjoy making fun of the French on occasion, and I expect it in return).  On the other hand, this should have been announced before the game was released.  Truth in advertising, so to speak.  One of my biggest complaints about EQ2 is that they didn't designate servers before release.  In fact, we didn't even know the names of the servers before release.  A lot of my friends ended up on other servers because we didn't have the opportunity to agree on a server beforehand.

My second biggest complaint is that they didn't designate servers for specific time zones.  I enjoy raiding occasionally, but I don't get a lot of opportunity because I live in Eastern Standard Time, and all the guilds on my server set their raids to accommodate people in Pacific Standard Time.  That means I'd have to stay up past midnight to raid, which doesn't mesh with my work schedule.  I know of at least one game that has designated at least a few of their servers by time zone.

On a side note, human Brasse (in traditional outfit) is disturbingly cute. =o

That's because she drew it in French.

I will translate :

Panel 1. "Hello! Would you like to join a guild?"

"Salut! Est-ce que tu veux rejoindre une guilde ?"

"Tu vieux tu joindre une guild" is something like " You Old You to join a guild ? "

Panel 2. "I am from Quebec."

ok

Panel 3. "Wow, what a jerk." (or equivalent), followed by "Can I have your stuff?"

"Wow, Quel abruti."  "Je peux avoir ton Stuff ?"

Yes, We use some english word in MMO too Smiley
Sorry for my bad english ^^
