Congratulations on the future grand-dwarfling! Funny how your son doesn't really look much like you... maybe the dwarven and bearded genes are recessive?
Also, it just occurred to me, but the kid is going to have a Grandma who's a gamer, and who's into comics and stuff. That's pretty cool!

Grats Brasse!!
Yes, there are quite a few gaming grannies
My mom being one of them. My two boys think it is way cool to have a grandma that is into games and gadgets. They keep trying to talk her out of her PSP, iPod, or one of her laptops.
Well wishes to the new parents and I will buy you a drink at FF!

Can I start calling you "Dame Linda" now?
Very happy for you guys! It will be great to have a baby around won't it? This time you won't have to stay up all night with the wee bairn but you get to do all the spoiling when you visit. The whole situation is full of WIN!

Thanks all!
Heheh Kaid... they've been planning the wedding for about 8 months now, so no, this was NOT part of the plan.
I actually asked them about if they planned to have children when I saw them in Seattle earlier this year, and the answer was "maybe someday, we don't think we are ready for it yet." Hhahahhhahaha. Clearly the baby had its own ideas.
It is pretty exciting - I just wish they didn't live a gazillion miles away. Must speak to Wren's parents and see how they cope with a similar distance from their grandkids. =)

If it's girl, do that anyway. Some of us prefer the SciFi and other "boy" stuff

Congratulations, Brasse and Alluvian! Wow!
You'll have to get the little squirt gaming as soon as possible. We'll need him or her to have a toon level capped by roughly his or her third birthday. Since the lil squirt will be young and lacking in manual dexterity, he or she can roll a wizard and just mash buttons :-)
Congratulations again!
