Not Understanding RvR and Scenarios

I've build "in queue" for the "Gates of Ekrund" scenario since 12pm today.  It is now 5pm.  Am I doing something wrong - or can it take FOREVER to join a scenario?

Senarios are broken down into tiers,(roughtly, lvl 1-10, 11-20, 21-30,31-40).  Within each tier there are 3 senarios, one for each racial paring.  From what I reminber of the first tier gates wasn't the popular senario and rarely spawned even when there were lots of people in that range.  Try the empire/chaos scenarios they seem to be the popular ones for whatever reason.  Also....why arn't you at work mister at 2pm on a weekday mister!

The best thing to do is join a "Scenario Group".  Which is a bunch of folks grouping for the sole purpose of queuing into different scenarios at once.  Thus increasing the chance of getting into one sooner.  For example, last night I grouped with a greenskin, and elf, and a couple of other folks in different Tier1 zones.  Since we were grouped, we could each queue the whole group into the various T1 scenarios that were nearby to each of us.  It worked out great and I did about 7 RvR scenarios at 6k+ xp each and dinged two levels in as many hours.  All the while doing PQ and other quests by myself inbetween.

That's really the most efficient way to do it and still pack a bunch of fun into a short playtime in the evenings.

I second what Atherin said. When I have more than 45 minutes to play I try to find a scenario group even though it really isn't hard to get into scenarios when you play on the right side of the war!

Missing you on Thorgrim Ez.  I got so used to doing quests and PQs with you in beta, it's odd not seeing you in /gu etc...

How are things going over on the Order server?  We are bathing the landscape in Order blood on Thorgrim

Going pretty well, Atherin. I haven't done much Open RvR, but the guild (and allies) took down their first keep the other night.

I miss you too. I was sad that you went Destruction. I have a couple of alts over there, but I usually don't play alts until I get bored and I'm nowhere near bored. I'm loving my White Lion.

Maybe we could set up an alt static group with some other folks? If we could all agree on a time...

What I typically do warork is go to the warcamp and then flitter to the other two warcamps queuing up in each. Typically it seems like one scenario will be more popular and will spawn more often. The nordenwatch humie zone always seemed to be the fastest spawning one for me in the low levels.

I really wish you could queue for all three realms pvp scenarios from anywhere.

Ask in guild if there are any scenario parties or RVR parties forming. Also note that during the day many folks will be at work/school so you will get less rvr luvin than you will at night or on weekends.
