Ok people... what shall I do with posters like this?

It seems fairly obvious that the poster joined solely to include a link in the sig that leads to god knows where (DO have virus protection up just in case you clicky on it).
The poster has done nothing "wrong," and I don't generally mind people linking to their own sites unless they are woefully inappropriate and burn the eyes. I do not wish to discriminate unfairly.

Comments appreciated.

We've had a LOT of similar folks join the forums of late... and MOST of their links are not hideous or obvious. Those that are get their arses handed to them by our Moderators. Some of them are truly... let's say AWFUL. =)  (the posts/links not the Mods)

Yeah I wasn't too sure what to do with this as it has nothing inappropriate really so I just left it to see what people would make of it really..?

What options does SMF forums give you (if any)to limit signatures? Either by number of posts or vetting or clicky urls not allowed?

On my blog, I don't approve any comments that are obvious link spam. If this was my forum, I'd delete it, but it isn't (my forum). Just make sure that if you delete it, you delete them consistently -- fair is fair, after all.
