Hi All!

Well... since I flunked at Free Realms I thought I would look at EQII and find I do enjoy it but I am being driven crazy by 2 quests in the Fae starter area!  Shocked

There are 2 quests to put either a bouquet of roses or a pint of beer on some rock at the base of some Sapling and even though I have been all over that sapling and swimming in the pond... I cannot find that stupid rock!  Spent 4 hours ast night trying to find it... HELP!  Please!  Before my sanity wanders further from me!!!

Willow, though I haven't played EQ2 in a long time, I'll answer this with what I know since the crickets on this thread are deafening.

There was a great site that had specifics for just about every EQ2 quest. . . but I've forgotten its name.  Assuming someone here hasn't posted a link to it by the time you read this, try Googling  "EQ2 <quest name>"

When I simply Googled "EQ2 quests by zone" I got a large lists of sites.  One of the first listed was http://eq2.zam.com/db/questlist.html  This isn't the one I used to use, but it looks like it has a comprehensive list of quests and there is no registration requirement.

Good luck!

I know that Wren usually prefers EQ2 Wikia, which has been supported by a great many quest entries over the years. Here is the link to the main page: http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/EverQuest_2_Wiki:Main_Page
Scroll down to the "popular areas" to start looking around.

Thanks Kwee and Brasse!

I realized how sketchy my information was on that thread when I reread it the next day... sorry everyone on that bit, I try to be concise but as I said my sanity had wandered...  Roll Eyes

I will take a peek at the sites you gave me and go get the quest title so I can find it or at least give myself a better chance at finding it.

BTW:  I know I write each sentence as a paragraph and this drives some people to step on a pet peeve but I do this so I can read what I write.

I wear 2 pair of glasses to see my screen so separating the sentences helps me to see them... sorry if any peeve is switching it's tail at me.

Been there, done that.  My sympathies!  I hope you've found it by now. Smiley

Allakhazam has been my bible - it's recently been changed to the Zam site that Kwee mentioned above.  I also use the wiki site that Brasse mentioned.  Both are good, and sometimes you can get different info from each site on the same quest.  I'd suggest using both!

They both have search boxes on the main page - Zam's is at the very top, can't miss it, and when you get to the quest write-up, be sure to check the 'comments' tab.  Sometimes the user comments are more helpful than the actual quest write-up.  Wiki has comments too, sometimes, but a bit harder to find.

You didn't mention what server you're on.  I'm on Crushbone.  If you happen to be on the same one, feel free to add me to your friends list (Carynne or Castalia are my two main characters) and bombard me with questions if you see me logged in. Smiley

Hi Willow.
Ditto to everything said above!
If you do happen to be on Crushbone, my main characters are Alajia and Enocee.  You are likely to see Castalia/Carynne and I roaming about!  Give us a holler!

Thank You!  I will do that!

I am on Crushbone since I read on the forums here that people I know may be on that server.  Watch for Willowing... I have no imagination and just used one of my LOTRO names...  Roll Eyes

The SOE forum Quests & Live Events is also good for information, and posting there should alos get a fairly fast reply.
However, I do love the EQ2 Wiki and Zam for specific walk through quest info. Smiley

You may consider getting a mod for your journal that has 2 clickable buttons on it, one to bring up the in-game browser for Zam and the other for Wiki for that specific quest. Saves you the need for Searching for the quest - all the info is right at your fingertips. Smiley

I use Drum's UI Horizontal journal one, and you can get it, with instructios how to install, at http://www.eq2interface.com/downloads/cat102.html  It's the 2nd download down.

If you decide to put in a mod and need help, just ask here cos anyone here can help, or pm me here or on SOE forums as Kittsune. Smiley It really isn't difficult to put in a mod and this one os so much help I dunno what I would do without it! Smiley

And welcome to EQ2! I'm on Splitpaw server.
