To the artist: Though I had difficulty discerning the details in the screenshots on my laptop monitor without enlarging it, I laughed out loud several times, and many more when reading your witty (and true!) commentary. SO HAPPY to see a new comic, YAY!!! If I had many thumbs, I would put them all up for this!
General:
I am very pleased that Bhinder at least *tries* most of the facebook games that I do. Thanks to (what she might view as) my passive aggressive recruiting technique, I have gotten lots more neighbor goodies and special gifts-that-are-indeed-a-perpetuating-cycle from Bhinder joining. The technique goes like this: "Dang, Bhinder, if only someone (ONE other person, really!) else would send me a hunk of flour/ribbon/etc., I'd then be able to open a larger restaurant, get married like a proper pioneer and/or birth my pioneer child, or be able to click for 20 more seconds." Then she does what a best friend should do, and joins up. Thank you.

And so I am motivated to post a couple of farm shots from the glory that is (currently until they really irk me and/or become too boring to continue clicking for) FrontierVille.
First, my friend Brian's newly developed Flax R Us village, which blossomed up just since I chopped down his trees last night:

Next, my lovely, very not boring farm:

Here you'll find a separate orchard and crops, a thriving metropolis set alongside one and a half edges of the town, a lovely tree house set close but not too close to a perfect campfire, and the free range animals in another corner, which keeps their stank far from the hustle and bustle of the Trice'Inn or the Trice'Skool'O'Learning, yeppers. Sure, sure, the chickens may *look* as if they are squashed, but it is just the extreme friendliness that I have bred into them that makes them do that. Or perhaps the cold Benicia nights. Any way, I think I am extra hooked on this game because of the "to do" lists. I have a purpose, kinda sorta.

happy frontiering,
patrice
