My first on the alliance side in wow was gnoll spit. But now that I've gone semi-horde there are these huge thunder lizard things in Durotar that drop squished rabbit carcasses! How appropriate!

Yeah, the wolves in WoW drop rabbits' feet quite frequently. I even knew someone who kept one in her bags at all times for luck.
There are a number of things in WoW that you can only get from picking pockets, such as Empty Wallet, Folded Handkerchief and Small Pocket Watch. There are more, but I just can't think of them right now.

Isn't there something about fecal matter someplace? I read it on Woody's site as a comic... maybe he just had to dig through it. But ya, that would take the gross out cake for me.
Yeah, there's a quest line in WoW where you have to dig through the stuff -- not once, but twice! There's also a quest that when you turn it in you & everyone within several yards (NPCs and players)... um... spews --
a lot
. And it's green.
One day in LotRO, I was questing with my Lore-master & it seemed that I was getting an unusually high percentage of items with "blackened" as the first word of the name. Then it occurred to me that I was
throwing balls of fire
at the poor creatures!

Hey, I have whole boxes in my bank filled with rotting zombie flesh and minotaur horns and ghost resonance echos (which are... what?) because you NEED those. Someday one of my other characters may actually make it to the zones where you can get the kobold L&L book and then she won't have to go searching for that elusive kidney because I've already got one!
hee hee hee
And my carnivorous plant LOVES the small bags of poo, thank you very much. Also large bones and flasks of rancid pond water.
Geez, I hope you didn't need to use anything like that to create makeup for Tymme in SWG!

OMG! I'd forgotten those EQ2 L& L quests!! I had so many odds and ends waiting in my bank for when I got the right Book or as spares for Alts or guildies who just might happen to need that moldy, old, decayed body part one day

Ugh, no, Tymme. That was Star Wars. Everything was synthetic and hypoallergenic.
And my EQ bank-boxes are refrigerated and contain open boxes of baking soda.
Some loot I'd like to see drop just for the sheer "Huh?" factor: fillings from teeth, lint, a pile of dandruff, a small musical instrument of some sort, a deck of playing cards, writing utensils, a half-eaten moldy sandwich, a used handkerchief, a slug.

hhhhmmmm...... I've been her partner in EQII for months now..... I knew she was a bit ... well... different... but this truly amazes me!......
... a half eaten moldy sandwich?
?, a used handkerchief?

Remember the original Diablo? If you were playing with your friends either by LAN or online, you could loot their corpse when they died and you got an ear. And it was a foul looking ear too. And, it made a splat noise when you moved it around in your inventory. EEEW.

Sooooo . . . many loots hehehe, trying to remember some from EQ, but I'm drawing a blank right now.
However, one of the funniest loots I've ever got was an "Enraged Brownie in a Box" from VG. LOL, it was part of the quest reward for Lyceum and you could let him out too
Was a real kick to be grinding with some buds who'd also got their brownie and all the sudden someone would say, "Hey, let's sic our Brownies on it"
We'd all laugh and let them loose. They would attack whichever mob you told them, like a pet, for I think it was a min. REALLY funny seeing 6 little brownies, running about like crazy, kicking the mobby's @$$

Oh yeah, they had ears in Diablo II as well. But they were just PvP trophies, they didn't drop for PvE deaths.

I was always amused way back in the day in eq1 when rogues could pick pocket any normal white loot. I was playing with a baby rogue and I went up to an barbarian whose head I needed to cleave from his body for a quest. So I sneak on up figuring may as well steal from him before I go all highlander on him. I hit pick pocket and what did I see in the loot window. The guys head. I pick pocketed the guys HEAD. You would think a person would notice if all the sudden their head goes missing in action.
Wow has some funny joke loot I see tor stealing gnome effigies and steamy romance novels often.
Hehe the old common loot in eq2 used to kill me as well the ever popular gnoll spit. I mean seriously who can possibly want to buy 20 vials full of gnoll drool from me. Seriously with me and all the other adventurers there must be vats and vats of gnoll spit somewhere in qeynos.

Heh heh, ah still have some 'frog mucus' on one (or more) of mah characters in EQII
What about harvesting elephant meat (in Antonica of all places) from those itty-bitty couldn't-fit-a-fae-(but-would-love-to-try) animal traps (and actually using said meat to make whiskey and other booze)

How about getting a_large_shiny_bone (or what ever that fertiliser is called) as body loot from those big clockworks outside Klak`Anon? Would ocassionally smash them up (while harvesting for a couple hours to get enough supplies to ding 41-50 alchemist in 3 days) and had several of those bones drop

Dahlmel Saliva in FFXI. They are giraffe type non aggressive mobs. Really big too. Good part is that it was used in some weird Alchemy recipe. Favourite useless loot in all Fantasy based MMORPG's are wings/feathers, any type, they always seem to be there (bee wings, dragonfly wings, bird feathers...)
