Warning! Lore in da links!

Hey.
I don't like to devote much of my spare time to forwarded emails from my MIL that aren't funny, browsing blogs by people I don't know and don't care about, or even reading posts/articles/editorials/etc. concerning the game I adore. After all, I'm BUSY, and stuff. Aren't we all? Right? Right! I'm guessing my spare time'ometer for this stuff is at about 3%, and half of that is taken up reading Brasse's comments.
So when I noticed (in my deep and involved reading, none of which involved scanning or skimming AT ALL) that there was a link to some site that has speculated on this new expansion, heck, I clicked STRAIGHT-AWAY, instantly, 3% be danged.
Here is kind of what I was hoping for:
Hey, yo, here's what we think the next expansion might have, based on nothing much but wishful thinking and some Ouija board consultations:
* We predict 10 more glowy quests per zone
* We predict flying
* We predict monkeys flying out of our butts
* We predict flying monkey glowy quests
I wanted my rumor and speculation in a nice, spoon-fed, easy to digest, bullet-point format. Instead, I got pages and pages and another PAGE of lore and stuff. I know I am not the only one (and those of you that don't agree are welcome to throw snowballs at me) that sees the lore for the game and goes: zzzzzzz lore blah blah zzzzzzz and then in olden times zzzzzzz the moon blah blah zzzzz way back when zzzzzz.
So, follow links with open eyes, and keep your fingers crossed for more monkeys in the next expansion!

EQII's Next Expansion: Shards of Luclin

Now as for me, I may be level 80, but I have only barely started on Jarsath Wastes quests, and my underlings (alts) have yet to explore all of Norrath's zones. So I am ok... but others are already doing the "I'm so booooooooored" dance, and looking at second rate games, hoping they will be be better than they look.
So yah. Expansion time.
EQ2-Daily has info on the new trademark filed by SOE: EverQuest II The Shadow of Odyssey.
Ok, so it's not Shards of Luclin, but my idea was better anyway. So there. Besides, the acronym for the title is so giggle-worthy (just like its EQ predecessor, Shadows of Luclin).
Massively.com has done some speculation on what the expansion might hold.
Their guess is as good as mine, but I am still holding out for snakes, planes and gimme more portals! My short legs are really tired of running for 40 minutes to get to my group. Seriously, it cuts into my BEER TIME. If I want to spend 2 hours a day commuting, I'll move to San Franscisco, thanks.
