Elfinks should not be allowed to play with dangerous weapons, but it does mean that sometimes my comics just write themselves.


Yesterday Wren came to see me South Qeynos, with a MASTER I ward spell in hand. Whooooooooooo!

I was delighted to cast the very first ubery ward on my good friend when asked. Little did I know that she just wanted to be warded so that she could use her Worker Sledgemallet on a passing guard. Captain. Epic x4.

The mallet went off, Wren happily ported to Jarsath Wastes... and I suddenly found myself under attack by Captain Irate. Yay for wards!

I made it to the Starcrest Commune gate and clawed my way in. Luckily they had not yet heard about my involvement in the guard-beating incident, so I was able to limp my way to the bar and send Wren a few choice words.

Like, THANKS FOR THE MASTER! No really, you ROCK!
A little beating is well worth the price of that spell, I can tell you!

Freaking Sledgemallet. I really need to get me one of those.
