As you all know, I'll buy any major game in the interests of research. Yeah, that, and a tax write-off. Surely this falls under business expenses, along with tylenol and beer!!

I had the Troll pick up AOC during lunch, and got it installed with NO trouble. Patched with NO trouble.

Get to Character Selection and the trouble begins. It occurs to me that I really didn't spend enough time researching classes.

I generally play a healer as my main. I tend to like the Shaman classes... so this should have been a no-brainer, but I made one fatal mistake.

I went to the official forums to look for information.

There it was, laid out before me. BEAR SHAMANS SUCK (till at least level 25). Now, I should know better than to read the "what's wrong with this class" threads, but in a moment of weakness, I succumbed, and I made my character an Aquilonian Priestess of Mithra instead.

I logged on, ran around a bit, and then thought... Screw this pansy-arsed, blonde, pure-hearted clericy thing.

I deleted her and made a PROPER Brasse.

Granted, she's not short enough, or broad enough across, and definitely lacking in facial hair, but she is a red-headed Cimmerian Shaman. That's as close as I can get to Brasse in Age of Conan.

If you run into her in game, she will be miserable, rude and difficult.
Life is as it should be!
