So no, I don’t know why the armor is so fugly. It is practical armor for fighting in. I have no complaints abut a more realistic armor style for a game. OK, the belts are certainly too big; they remind me of the old SWG belts that looked like truck tires wrapped around the waist. The rest looks great, if somewhat monochromatic.

And no. I am not going to post a pic of my avatar with her shirt off, thanks for asking.

Those of you who seriously expected females to be running around in chainmail bikinis and wispy bits of flowing silk in AOC and wonder if that comes with high level armor sets… stop asking me about it. Write to FunCom and maybe they’ll patch it in for you.

The truth is, the last bit of sexah clothing I had was at character creation, and that is in the bank as a souvenir. I wear studded leather, layered leather and a lot of it has furry trim.

In the most recent Clan of Conan newsletter, we are told that “the item team is working relentlessly on making items and equipment considerably more exciting in the game. This involves re-distribution item visuals and improving the loot drops.”

I have NO clue what “re-distribution item visuals” even means, but you never know, it may involve replacing rough rawhide tunics with metal bikini tops. You can always pray.

So where have all the boobies gone?
Dunno. Still have mine.

My standing advice for those who really, really think it’s important to see this stuff… make your own female avatar. There you go.
