Warhammer: Begun, the Clone Wars Have

Brasse -- 2008-12-02 13:13:58

Today marks the early release of the Black Guard (also listed as Blackguard in game, someone needs to make up their minds) and the Knight of the Blazing Sun in Warhammer Online.

Of course, you only get to play them if you completed the tasks in the Heavy Metal live event, but who didn't?

Oh yeah... you lot that rushed back to WoW when the Lich King called. Too bad!

Or just as well... the newbie area is overrun with grey-clad dweebs with terrible names. The comic does not exaggerate much; I am proud to say that MY character's name does not contain clever twists and outright misspellings of the words "black," "guard," "night," or "dark." That's how you'll know it's me.

Things are no different on the Order side of things, where there are hundreds of yellowjackets running around in their lederhosen.

I think I'll just give it a few days to let the dust settle, because all the early zones will be FULL of KNIGGIT ZERG TEAMS FROM HELL. Any healers found roaming the area will be torn apart by the ravaging hordes fighting over them.

To be fair to the Disciple of Khaine in the comic, they are not known for their selfless healing anyway, which may be another reason she says, "Healer? WHA?" The usual DoK response to "heal plz" is "busy" (if they are polite) or "stfu" (if they are not)... but it's all that the Dark Elfinks have.

I'll be over here... working.
Massive Gamer #6 is underway.
PLAY? What play?
