"I cannot say that I have always wanted to work in the gaming industry. I know full well that it is not the glamorous field that some imagine it to be."
What's not to love? Ridiculous hours? Working through the weekends? Thinking about work even when you're not at work? Conference calls at odd times of the night? Impossible deadlines?
On the other hand, the dress code tends to be less restrictive. The people you work with will be some of the happiest, funniest people you've ever met. Your 12-14 hour days will fly by faster than any 6 hours you've spent working in a "normal" profession. You'll wake up the morning, excited to get back to work.
Yeah, it's not a job for everyone. However, it can be terribly rewarding for those who know what they're getting into. I think you do.
Congratulations, Linda. I look forward to seeing how things pan out for you in the future.

Best of luck to you, Brasse. I hope Brakk gets something to munch on here in California.
I have the utmost respect for the chances you take for the things you love. Sony couldn't have gotten a better spokesperson.

Thankee, thankee all!
Heilig, as with gender, it is also almost impossible to tell if a Dwarf is drunk*... so I am not too worried on that front.
