And they constantly stop attacking and just stand there for no reason until you tell them to attack again. No way to use AOE abilities except directly because there is no "If 2 or more enemies AND NO FRIENDS" option.
Sure I can (and am forced to) pause every second to issue orders, but then it is just a poorly designed turn based game. I love turn based, but actual turn based games are so much better than quasi-turn based games like this with a pause toggle. I'll take the combat in Temple of Elemental Evil anyday over any bioware rpg.
I could continue and list about 30 more things that drive me batty with the game, but it is way too off topic. Liking Mass Effect 2 although it is more a shooter and very little rpg left, and in both games I am sick and tired of either having to sleep with or piss off every member of the opposite sex in the party because either they want to jump in the sack with me for being even vuagely nice, or I have to tell them I am not interested and they then fly off the handle and hate me. Grrrr. This is not how to make an 'adult' game, that is how to make what a 13 year old THINKS is an adult game.
