So, we've all been there. Level 5, killing deer. Level 20, killing the same damn deer, only tougher and maybe with a different name.

New expansion, a few new creatures, but there they are... deer that look exactly the same, but meaner. A lot meaner. They can probably kick your arse.

It is all feeding into my inferiority complex when I can't even hunt a defenseless herbivore, after honing my skills and successfully defeating all manner of highly trained, scimitar-wielding fiends of doom and necromantic, melt-your-face-off dark magic wielders.

My money is on the baby deer over there, if it comes down to a duel.

I mean, can't we at least make them look bigger? Add some scary looking red stripes or something?

So now, off I go to read about the cool new Neriak content for EQII. I see the Neriak mini-expansion will include the "Darklight Wood". I hope they don't put any deer in.

They scare me.
