As noted in my short article, Lord of the Rings Online now offers a name change service, as well as the ability to change kinship names and transfer servers. A very useful and laudable addition to the game.

Still, my very FIRST thought was.... Gee, wonder if I could pay to get some of these asshat's names changed? I sniggered into my beer, not knowing that at the same time, and without any form of mind-melding, Wren posed the same question out loud to our kinship.

Great minds, and all that.

Note: While I actually took a list of real, stupid in-game names (and kinship names) to use in this comic, I relented and made some up that were really close, but less likely to make idiots famous. I wouldn't want the inspiration for "Idoit" jumping up and down in his dorm room all excited about being in a web-comic - might be too much like a reward or something.
