People tend to forget that real pirates, as a rule, sucked. Rude, crude, lewd, and oh yeah, they'll kill you too.

The comic today is adapted from a true GenCon story related by Troy Hewitt, PR dude for Pirates of the Burning Sea.

Tsk, tsk.
Well Troy, you wanted a pirate shanty, and you got one. These guys are probably LARPers who put lots of time into historical research. If you hadn't bought them off with schwag, they would abduct your sister, sink your booth and pee all over your shoes. Then they'll sell you into slavery and you'd end up, I dunno, working for a gaming company or something.

Ohhhh, so this HAS happened before!
