After several failed attempts at downloading and testing out of the game 'Rappelz' due to corrupted downloads, or corrupted files and dll's , I surfed the Internet for another candidate for the free MMOG category in order to test out one of these games and see what I was missing, if anything.
Curiosity drove me to it to be honest, plus I have some time on my hands till the new releases of 2008, and thought it a pleasant way to kill some time and be somewhat productive.
I found CABAL Online.
So over the coming days, or, however long it takes to show the basics of the game, I will be posting my findings along with some artwork to show you this one specimen of a wider Eastern MMO Phenomenon, i.e., the 'Free MMOG'.
The game as I found it and downloaded it, is restricted to Europe. There are some licensing issues that are in negotiations that restrict the US market from having access at this time.
So stay tuned while I develop my character and the artwork to present Cabal Online over the coming days or weeks, as he make progress in the world of 'Neverath'.
