SOE FanFaire Registration is now open!

Ok, ok, so the timing (August 14-17) is not great for this year, due to booking snafus for other convention sites that SOE was looking into. Still, for those of you NOT attending GenCon in August (which falls on the same weekend), consider going to SOE's FanFaire instead. I always have a great time, but then, I pack my own armor and beer.

This year it's worth attending just for the BETA KEYS and previews of upcoming titles. And the beer.

Registration is only $89 for quite a lot of entertainment. Take my advice and book your rooms and flights early for best availability and rates.

Although the FanFaire has been traditionally EverQuest/II oriented, things have really changed over the past few years. SOE has a lot of titles that you'll be able to learn about, including some of the most intriguing ones yet:
Free Realms
The Agency
DC Online (not sure if that's the working title or not, but someone will poke me if need be).

Players from Star Wars: Galaxies, Vanguard, Planetside and even Matrix Online (yeah, all 3 of them) attend as well. See if a Dwarf can defeat a Stormtrooper in hallway combat! (Hint: the Dwarf will win, as a well-weilded pewter mug will trash Stormtrooper armor)
