Step 1: Talk to Cam Puddifoot

This quest starts with Hyacinth Took. She is west of the Great Smials in Tuckborough.

Continuing on from the last quest in the series, we now have to start the task of collecting the ingredients for these fireworks.

Well, if the old crow is willing to pay, then I suppose I’ll have to oblige her.

First, I’ll send you out after saltpeter. My friend Cam Puddifoot, the pig-farmer in Budgeford can usually supply some. He’s got the biggest manure-pits in the whole shire!

Cam will let me know when he needs payment so you’ll not need to carry coin with you. He hardly has use for saltpeter.

Cam Puddifoot is located in Budgeford. He is towards the middle of the town by his house just north of a farm field.

But there’s a catch. Isn’t there always?

Saltpetre? I got mounds of it. But I tell you what, I got other problems, too. Long as you’re here, I’m going to ask you to take care of ‘em for me before I send that saltpeter over to Hyacinth’s place.
