Standing-Stone, The

General Quest

Glamir wants to get rid of the greater will (the evil of the wights) from Ered Luin.

STEPS:

1) Bring the elf-stone to the standing stone and defeat its guardian. Glamir says:

"Talk the Elf-stone into the barrows and place it upon the largest standing stone. It is a white stone near a ruined building."

The barrows is in the Emyn Hoedh area. This is to the east past a rock mountain and a bit north from where Glamir is. Once you are in the area, head north towards the building. The stone will be glowing, you can see it not far from the building (17.9s, 93.4w). Double-click this once you are ready 'place the stone' and fight the guardian, a level 14 signature Mound-Wight. When he dies, your quest will update.

2) Talk to Glamir. He claims "evil is not vanquished, but at least it is crippled."

3) Bring the elf-stone to Gailthin.

4) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get XP, and either Gailthin's Feathered Hat or Bregnam.
