Cleansing the Ruins

General Quest

Calengil made his draught, which will make vines grow in such a manner that they will quickly bring the ruins to rubble. He cannot bear to destroy the ruins himself, and asks you to do it.

STEPS:

1) Find the first tower of Dol Ringwest. Find the second tower of Dol Ringwest. Dol Ringwest is west and a bit south of Duillond. You will be able to see the tower from a distance, though if you choose to run through the mountains, you may get stuck (well at least I did) and need to find another route. When you come to a flower-laden hill heading up, you are at the right place (24.9s, 95w). This is the first tower of Dol Ringwest, and you should head in, and to the left. You will soon see a message to "use the cleansing draught here." Find it in your inventory, and double-click it at the proper spot (24.9s, 95w). You will still need to find the second tower and the spot to place the draught for that. This one can be tricky—it is in the corner of Dol Ringwest, and I tried three times and failed to get an update (you still get the "use the cleansing draught here" message) before I happened to be in the right spot (24.8s, 95.2w). Keep trying, you will get it!

2) Return to Calengil in Duillond, east of Dol Ringwest.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Glamir's Vigil.
