Grisly Task, A
General QuestLaergil tells you how some bears in eastern Haudh Lin have been affected by the pestilence and have attacked travlers without being provoked. You must take care of these bears.
STEPS:
1) Defeat 12 vicious bears. The Vicious Hill-Bears are in northeastern Haudh Lin, very close to the area called Talath Ondren (18.4s, 91.2w). They are level 13-14. I actually found these to be a uncommon spawn, so I will list some other coordinates I found a bear: (19.3s, 91.6w), (20s, 91.8w—near an old, empty gazebo), and finally I found more bears than all the other locations in this last area: (19.7s, 92.2w). It is possible the bears share a spawn with the spiders and crawlers.
2) Talk to Laergil.
3) After you speak with her and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP and either Laergil's Hooded Cloak or Laergil's Mace.
