Elf-Sword, The

General Quest

Penglir suggests you find a special sword that may convince Celairant to use the gifted bow.

STEPS:

1) Find Elvellon, the Elf-sword.

"The sword Elvellon can be found at a grave marker amongst the mounds of the Edain, northeast of Gondamon."

I found these directions horribly vague. The area you will want to go to is Emyn Hoedh, the wight area, which is indeed northeast of Gondamon, and in the northern Haudh Lin area. There are many mounds in Emyn Hoedh, the one you want is the southwestern most one, which will be the first one you see if you enter the area coming from Gondamon. The sword (which is small, and you may not see until you are very close to it, although it does glow), rests atop a small dais, which is on a mound (numerous standing stones and a marbley base raised a bit higher than the surrounding land) with several wights (levels 12-14) standing on it. The sword is called Elf-Friend Sword, and you'll double-cilck it to pick it up (18.7s, 93.8w). My thanks to Thardin for helping me piece out where this thing was!

2) Bring the Elf-sword to Celairant, back at Thrasi's Lodge, northwest of Duillond and south and a bit west from the mound in Emyn Hoedh. (21.6s, 94.1w)

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and and either Celairant's Sword, Celairant's Mace, or Bregaith.
