Offering of Peace, An

General Quest

Background

Frideric asked you to help him gather a peace offering of boar-haunches and lynx-fur for the strange creatures living near the Last Bridge at the eastern end of the Great East Road.

"With the migration of Orcs and goblins to the western Lone-lands, the Eglain attempted to rekindle old trade relations with an Elf from the east. However, they encountered great, lumbering beasts upon the Road and dared not continue forwards."

Steps:

After talking to Frideric the Elder, head out of Ost Guruth and start hunting boars and lynx (cat-like animal, do not mistake it for wolves). They are populated along the road and can be found roaming around Nain Enidh (west of Ost Guruth).

Items required:
12 Boar haunches
12 lynx fur.

After collecting the items, head back to Frideric the Elder for
reward.

NOTE from Wren: when I did this quest, I had very little luck in finding boars in Nain Enidh. I did not check *east* of Ost Guruth, but the pickings were, well, non-existent, west of town. So, I headed back to the Weather Hills area and Annunlos, and killed some lower level pigs for the boar meat.
