Step 1: Defeat wolves in Puddifoot’s Fields

Continuing on from Seeking Saltpetre, we find that Cam Puddifoot has a problem:

See here, we got a lot of wolves off in the east and north-east of Budgeford, and lately some of them have gotten into my fields. Puts a mighty fear into my pigs, let me tell you.

So I want you to rid me of ‘em. Those beastly things are all over my fields, and I’m losing more pigs every day.

I’ll make sure that saltpeter gets over to Hyacinth, don’t you worry.

We now have to defeat 6 wolves in the correct field. To find the field we are looking for, head east-northeast till you get to a field, it is just out of the town. The field with wolves is just east of this field.

The wolf killing is pretty straightforward, just be careful that you don’t get too many at once if you didn’t bring help.

When done, return to Cam.

Take this pack of saltpeter I made up back to Hyacinth and tell her there’s plenty more where that came from.

Step 2: Bring the saltpetre to Hyacinth Took

Now to return back to Hyacinth again. If you have forgotten where she is, you can find her in Tuck borough, west of the Great Smials

Phew, the smell I could do without, but it’s the cost of the saltpeter, I’m afraid of. Well, this’ll do.

Congratulations, you got yourself some gloves. Hope you can use them, if you can’t sell them. Don’t forget that at level 10, hunters can use them once you train your passive skills.
