General QuestEldo Swatmidge is on the far east edge of Staddle as shown on this map.
He has his eye on the widow Asphodel Froghorn also found on this map (southwest of Eldo).
The widow is not warming to Eldo, but he does notice that the letter mentions bears. Always the type to volunteer someone else to win the love of his life, he send you of course to kill bears.
Defeat bears near Widown Froghorn's farm 6
The bears are pretty plentiful in and around the woods south of Staddle.
Kill 6 and head to Asphodel and then back to Eldo.
