INTRO: Captain Brackenbrook

Introduction Quest

Amdir needs to warn Captain Brackenbrook about a possible traitorous raid on the town, but the Captain distrusts rangers. Amdir wants you to go for him.


STEPS:

1) Talk to Captain Brackenbrook, who "commands the garrison from the Mad Badger Inn", which is south of where you found Amdir (25s, 48.9w), up the stairs closest to Amdir.

2) The Captain is resistant to the information you bring, and tells you that if you want to help,

"take up arms and make your way to the sheep-farm to the south and west and help Dirk Mudbrick against the wolves that plague the farmers!"

3) Go back to Amdir.

4) Amdir talks to you about the traitor:

"Calder Cob has done his job too well. We will need to find another way to expose Cob’s treachery."

5) After you speak with him and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you may take the quest: INTRO: Honing Your Skills.
