Barton Tyne Has Lost His Ring

Barton Tyne can be found standing by the side of the main road that leads from Bree-town to the Lone Lands. He is clearly agitated and you soon learn why... he's lost his wedding ring.

Sound familiar? Yep, I remember his wife, Verity Tyne, having the same problem. I don't really want to speculate how they could BOTH manage to lose their wedding rings... I mean really. This couple has issues!

He claims he had some "business at the Forsaken Inn", and that he lost the ring while unloading some crates, mmmm-hmmm.

1. Collect amethyst ring.

Nonetheless, the enterprising adventurer can see some profit to be made and advantage to be gained (no, no, not by blackmail, sheesh!).
If you are even the lowest apprentice Jeweller, so much the better; you can whip up an Amethyst Ring (copper ingot + polished amethyst). If not, you cna usually obtain one very cheaply from a friend, the auction house, or even via asking on the /ooc channel.

2. Return the ring to Barton Tyne

Easy as pie, as Barton wouldn't dare leave the spot without the ring - he'll be waiting for you by the road again. This quest is best done when you have business between Bree-town and the Forsaken Inn, as it is a rather long run otherwise.
