General QuestSaeradan tells you he has a spy among the brigands, and wants you to meet with him to find more about Sharkey's plans.
STEPS:
1) Meet Saeradan's spy at night. Saeradan says:
"The meeting place is by a grey rock in a small stand of trees directly north of Bree-town."
The place where you'll meet the Brigand-Informer is not far from the North Gate of Bree at all, and almost directly south of Saeradan's cabin (28s, 52.3w). After you select "Continue Quest", you'll need to ensure the spy stays alive from a Brigand onslaught.
2) Protect the spy from the Brigands. Three or four level 10 Brigands will immediately attack you. Bring a friend if you would have trouble against multiple mobs at once. After you have dispatched the ruffians, the informant gives you a stack of papers.
3) Bring the informer's notes to Saeradan.
4) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and either Saeradan's Bow, Saeradan's Trousers or Saeradan's Iron Bracelet.
