Vale of Andrath, The

General Quest

Saeradan now wants to get serious about attacking the Orcs, and sends you to the Vale while he watches the North.

STEPS:

1) Defeat 20 brigands and half-orcs in Andrath. Defeat Sharkey's Lieutenant. Saeradan says:

"I would that you gather your allies and assault the brigands' encampment in the Vale. Follow the Greenway south, far beyond the Greenway Crossing. At the southern end of the Vale is an old ruin the brigands have fortified. Scatter the brigands and slay their leader. They must not hold the ruin."

The 'Greenway' refers to the long north-south road that runs the length of Bree-land. You will follow this south, past the Andrath area, into the South-Guard ruins (35.3s, 51.6w). As you fight your way to Sharkey's Lieutenant, you will be sure to get your quota of 20 brigands and half-orcs. Go into the ruins and head south until you reach some stairs. Take the right-hand set of stairs, and once up top, head to the right (it's the only way that leads anywhere). You will soon see another set of stairs; you'll be taking those too. Lots and lots of brigands here, many of them wandering mobs, so take your time, and take some friends along for this quest! Once at the top of the last stairs, head to the left and you will see Sharkey's Lieutenant, a level 15 Elite mob with 1589 morale (36.2s, 51.5w).

2) Talk to Saeradan.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Broken Alliance.
