General Quest

Dob made the mistake of straying from the Great East Road. He later got hungry, and while he was having a snack near some old stonework, a "hefty burly fellow" arrived and scared Dob, who left without his pack. He wants you to get it back for him.

STEPS:

1) Collect Dob Sandheaver's Pack. Dob say:

"The stonework is north of Buckland in the Brandywood. I doubt that this giant Man-Svalfang I heard him call himself-will stay in his dreary little hut all day."

The stone area you want is quite a trek from Bree. It is far north of Buckland, through the Brandy Hills and at the farthest point north in The Brandywood that you can go (only impassable mountains behind you). The stonework is elevated, and one side of the mountain you will not be able to climb; look instead for a grassy hill (on the east side, if you are facing the stonework) that leads up to the area. Once there, be wary of Svalfang, a level 30 Elite, that wanders the area. If you are careful, you should have no trouble picking up (double-click) Dob Sandheaver's pack (25.1s, 62.3w).

2) Bring Dob Sandheaver his pack.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and Sandheaver's Hammer.

After you are high enough level to accept a level 30 quest, you will also be offered another task by Amlan (outside the Prancing Pony, 25.6s, 52.9w) called Giant Problems.
