Dwarf Made Blade, A

General Quest

You'll find Lofar standing in front of a rock a bit south of the Ironmonger's Gate. Lofor has had a blade stolen, and he suspects the "Man-smiths who live up near Bree's West-gate." He thinks you will be better results speaking with them than he would.

STEPS:

1) Talk to the smiths. While you could talk to all four smiths involved in this quest, you could also just skip three of them and talk to the one that is guilty, Kenton Thistleway (your choice)! All the smiths are located roughly between the Inn Gate and the West Gate. One group is Pete Shadetree and Flint Oakhewer, who both seem horribly offended you would even suggest that they stole the blade (29.7s, 52.4w). The other group, Matt Haywood and Kenton Thistleway, is just outside the Weapons and Armor shop (29.8s, 52.5w). Kenton will admit to taking the sword. It seems Kenton's family was threatened by a brigand named Nate unless Kenton produced a sword for the brigand captain.

2) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Getting the Blade Back.
