Addie's Missing Sons

General Quest

You'll find Addie next to a fire just after you pass through the Mud Gate. Addie's son Malin left to gain his fortune in the Barrow-downs, and when he did not return promptly, Addie's next son went to look for him, and now they are both missing. She wants you to find the son that went after Malin.

NOTE: While this is a fellowship quest, if you are safe and quick, you can run this quest without any fighting, and do it solo.

STEPS:

1) Search The Dead Man's Perch for Amlach. Addie says:

"Amlach said he'd camp at The Dead Man's Perch on the eastern cliffs. Please go there and see if you can find Amlach. Be sure to go with trusted allies, for tales say that dead men wander those hills..."

To find Amlach's camp, get to The Dead Spire in the Northern Barrow Downs, and head directly east until you see (sadly) Amlach's body lying at a camp (32.1s, 53.9w). After you double-click him, you'll get two messages telling you that "you found Amlach's corpse", and "you collected the tattered journal." 2) Bring the journal to Addie Wheatley.

3) After you speak with them and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP, and you will now be able to take the next quest, Find Malin.
