NOTE: You will only be offered this quest after you have helped Amarion with three previous quests. After completing The Scout Becomes the Hunter, Amarion will announce to his fellows: "People of the North Downs, hope returns to us all. We have amongst us one who will aid you all. Speak now and let them know what you need."

Agnes Martlet (12.5S, 52.8W) believes the threat of the Wargs will soon pass, and she is more concerned with the bears that have troubled her livestock over the years. She has asked you to cull the bears' numbers and collect their thick hides for tents and clothing while also reducing the threat to her livestock.

Steps:

1) Collect Heavy Bear-hides (0/18)

The bears are in the forested area to the northeast of Amon Raith and around through a valley going to west of Haudh Egland that ends at Ost Nuaran. The type is "Downs Bear".

2) Return the Heavy Bear-hides to Agnes Martlet

Return to Agnes Martlet at Amon Raith. After you speak with her and select "Finish Now", you get your coin reward, XP and a new quest, "More Business with Bears".
