Step 1: Talk to Hart Holeman

This quest starts with Hyacinth Took. She is west of the Great Smials in Tuckborough.

You really shouldn’t have let Cam bully you into hunting those wolves for him. That’s work for the Shirriffs! Well, thank you for the saltpeter.

Now I need some charcoal. Please go to Overhill and talk to Hart Holeman. He and some other wood-cutters gather timber from Bindbole Wood and sometimes cook charcoal for sale. You can find him at his home in the centre of Overhill.

Mind you don’t let him bully you like Cam did.

Sheesh, she’s rough! We better get that charcoal.

Overhill can be found north-northeast of Hobbiton. Just follow the road that heads north out of Hobbiton and it will bend to the right and directly into Overhill.

Charcoal is it? Yes, we do have some for sale. I’ll be happy to prepare a parcel for young Hyacinth. But there’s one think you can do for me first…

You knew this was coming, didn’t you?
We better just do this and keep quiet or Hyacinth will never let us hear the end of it. On to the next quest.
